• • Passport & Visa Passport must be valid for minimum 6 months from the travel date with a valid China tourist visa.
• • Arrival Documents Guests must carry passport, visa copy, hotel confirmation, return flight ticket, and travel insurance during arrival and immigration.
• • Currency The local currency is Chinese Yuan (CNY/RMB). It is recommended to carry some local currency for personal expenses
• • Digital Payments Digital payments are widely used in China through apps like Alipay and WeChat.
• • Internet Restrictions Some apps such as WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, and Google Maps may not work in China.
• • Hotel Check-in / Check-out Standard check-in time is after 14:00 hrs and check-out time is before 12:00 hrs (subject to hotel policy).
• • Drinking Water Tap water is generally not recommended for drinking. Bottled water is advised.
• • Power Supply Electricity is 220V; carrying a universal travel adapter is recommended.
• • Local Language The main language is Mandarin Chinese. English may be limited in some areas.
• • Punctuality Guests are requested to be on time for all transfers and sightseeing tours.
• • Travel Insurance Travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip delays, and baggage loss is highly recommended.
• • Local Laws & Regulations Travelers must follow local laws, customs, and regulations during their stay.
• • Booking & Payment Policy • A non-refundable booking deposit is required to secure reservations. • Balance payment must be cleared prior to travel as per payment schedule. • Failure to complete payment within the stipulated timeline may result in automatic cancellation. • All services are confirmed only after receipt of full payment.
• • Amendments & Changes • Any amendment after booking confirmation will be subject to availability. • Airline, hotel, or supplier amendment charges may apply. • Date changes, passenger name corrections, or itinerary revisions may attract additional costs. • Once travel documents are issued, modification charges will be higher.
• • Transportation & Sightseeing • Sightseeing tours operate as per fixed schedules. • Guests must report on time at designated pickup points. • Missed tours or transfers due to delay or no-show will be non-refundable. • Traffic conditions or operational factors may require itinerary adjustments
• • Meals & Services • Meals included will be as per itinerary only. • Special meal requests are subject to availability. • Any additional meals, beverages, or personal consumption will be payable directly.
• • Personal Expenses The package does not include: • Personal shopping expenses • Laundry, minibar, telephone usage • Optional tours & activities • Porterage charges • Early check-in / late check-out charges • Tips & gratuities (unless specified)
• • Travel Insurance • Travel Insurance is strongly recommended for all travelers. • Insurance should cover medical emergencies, trip cancellation, baggage loss, and travel delays. • Bayard Vacations will not be liable for uninsured losses
• • Health & Safety Responsibility • Travelers must ensure they are medically fit to travel. • Guests must comply with local laws and regulations of Hong Kong. • Any fines or penalties imposed by authorities will be borne by the traveler.
• • Unforeseen Circumstances / Force Majeure In case of situations beyond control such as: • Weather disruptions • Natural calamities • Political unrest • Flight cancellations • Government restrictions Bayard Vacations will assist in arranging suitable alternatives wherever possible. Any additional expenses arising shall be borne by the client.
• • Liability Disclaimer • Bayard Vacations acts only as an intermediary between clients and service providers. • We shall not be responsible for injury, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity caused by airlines, hotels, transport operators, or third-party services. • Tour schedules may change due to operational requirements.
• • Cancellation Policy A. Cancellation after booking confirmation – 10% of total package cost B. Cancellation 30 days or more prior to arrival – 25% of total package cost C. Cancellation between 30 to 15 days prior to arrival – 50% of total package cost D. Cancellation 15 days or less prior to arrival – 75% of total package cost E. Cancellation 3 to 1 day prior, same day cancellation, or No Show – 100% of total package cost
